Digitized communication and networking in education started in the mid-1980s. Educational institutions began to take advantage of the new medium by offering distance learning courses using computer networking for information. Early e-learning systems, based on computer-based learning/training often replicated autocratic teaching styles whereby the role of the e-learning system was assumed to be for transferring knowledge, as opposed to systems developed later based on computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL), which encouraged the shared development of knowledge.
Not all courses start on the same date. Course start and end dates vary based on the semester Term. Classes should show in eLearning after 8am Central Time on the start date provided. The start date is dependent on when your instructor has set the course to begin in eLearning. To see what day your class begins, access your schedule in the My Classes app in MyUWF (see below).

It is conceivable that someone at UTD is monitoring every logged-in account (in a lab, VPN, or CometNet) and checking for any network traffic to do-my-homework.com, but I’ve never heard of it. It would probably also result in extensive legal actions (since UTD is run by the state there would be 4th amendment concerns), which I’ve never heard of.
Users have reported getting an error when attempting to log into UTD’s Qualtrics site. We’ve confirmed with Qualtrics that they are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Qualtrics Support says… More that data collection is not affected by the issue, so any open surveys are able to collect responses. The outage affects users attempting to log into the system.
