Synchronous learning refers to the exchange of ideas and information with one or more participants during the same period. Examples are face-to-face discussion, online real-time live teacher instruction and feedback, Skype conversations, and chat rooms or virtual classrooms where everyone is online and working collaboratively at the same time. Since students are working collaboratively, synchronized learning helps students create an open mind because they have to listen and learn from their peers. Synchronized learning fosters online awareness and improves many students’ writing skills.[59]

Some have noted that current e-learning models are moving towards applying a constructivism learning theory[131] that emphasizes a learner-centered environment[132] and postulates that everyone has the ability to construct their own knowledge and meaning through a process of problem solving and discovery.[133] However, some principles of constructivism may not be appropriate for ADHD learners; these principles include active learning, self-monitoring, motivation, and strong focus.[131]

With this in mind, the article focuses on the workflow I use when I create my eLearning courses.   My eLearning courses begin life on paper (where I’ve sketched some ideas).   When it comes to eLearning development, I use PowerPoint as my “heavy hitter.”

If all information is correct then the system will automatically create the rosters. This is done once every hour. So it would depend where in the process the request comes in. It could be 2 hours or more before the roster is created.

In addition, when correcting quiz questions or answers for regrade, you need to allow at least 10 before making any additional changes to other quiz questions or answers.  Otherwise, the regrading process is interrupted and you will need to manually regrade the quiz question/answers instead.

If there are any errors in the Course ID, Section Numbers, the Instructors Username or Role, the system will hold the request for review by LSS Staff responsible for course creation to resolve the errors.

Assessing learning in a CBT is often by assessments that can be easily scored by a computer such as multiple choice questions, drag-and-drop, radio button, simulation or other interactive means. Assessments are easily scored and recorded via online software, providing immediate end-user feedback and completion status. The Masters of Science Leadership and Organizational Development (MS LOD) with a concentration Executive Coaching are delivered via eLearning, an online course management system. The eLearning platform integrates web based technology that utilizes both video recordings with occasional live web conferencing to create an asynchronous, successful learning experience.

It’s better to minify JavaScript in order to improve website performance. The diagram shows the current total size of all JavaScript files against the prospective JavaScript size after its minification and compression. It is highly recommended that all JavaScript files should be compressed and minified as it can save up to 7.0 kB or 79% of the original size.

If you put in a close date for viewing correct answers, they will not see the correct answers after that date, but they will be able to see the quiz questions and their answers even when the course moves to Past Enrollments.

Blackboard Learn is UNI’s centrally supported Learning Management System (LMS). This support site provides information for accessing and using Blackboard Learn as well as other related eLearning technologies, such as Panopto, Turnitin, Respondus, Zoom, and more.

eLearning is back up and users are now able to log in. Our LMS Tech team is working with Blackboard to determine the cause of the issue, and Blackboard engineers continue to closely monitor the system. Educational technology, particularly in online learning environments, can allow students to use real identity, pseudonym, or anonymous identity during classroom communication. Advantages in anonymizing race, age, and gender are increased student participation[139] and increased cross-cultural communication.[140] Risks include increased cyberbullying, and aggressive or hostile language.[140][141][142]

HTML content can be minified and compressed by a website’s server. The most efficient way is to compress content using GZIP which reduces data amount travelling through the network between server and browser. This page needs HTML code to be minified as it can gain 994 B, which is 14% of the original size. It is highly recommended that content of this web page should be compressed using GZIP, as it can save up to 5.2 kB or 71% of the original size.

eLearning tech codes must be set before sections can be linked. Sections can be linked until the end of the semester. If necessary, instructors can unlink sections until the first day of class for the course term (A, B, C); after that date, instructors must contact the ITS Help Desk in order to unlink sections.

When I tried looking for more info online it says nothing about Elearning’s ability to track all your web activity, from what info I’ve found online they are only able to track data from what you’re doing in Elearning. So from what I gather I don’t know how true it is.
