The capability of organizations to accumulate and apply new knowledge is a key factor in order to achieve the new competitive standards. A continuous changing diversity, to which the need of adaptation to the changes of external environment is added, speeds up the rate of development and business education. The new information and communication technologies speed up the rate of change and increase the need of education that is subject to a higher information flow. The achievements of information technology, along with changes within society, determine the creation of new paradigms for business education and training. Under these circumstances, e-learning has become one of the main educational forms of human resources in business. This research aims to measure the impact of some initiatives within human resources on an organization, market leader within pharmaceutical field, namely measuring the efficiency of business education programs concerning human resources through e-learning. Under these circumstances, the carried-out research aims to put into practice the theoretical frame of ROI (Return on Investment) methodology of evaluating the business education programs concerning human resources in five stages, suggested by J. J. Phillips. The research validates theoretical data of the surveyed model and it is based on the analysis of the data gathering process within the ROI Methodology. This work shows only aspects related to the measuring of the participants’ reaction towards the e-learning business education program, respectively.
Further, many researchers distinguish between collaborative and cooperative approaches to group learning. For example, Roschelle and Teasley (1995) argue that “cooperation is accomplished by the division of labour among participants, as an activity where each person is responsible for a portion of the problem solving”, in contrast with collaboration that involves the “mutual engagement of participants in a coordinated effort to solve the problem together.”

According to Branford et al., “technology does not guarantee effective learning” and inappropriate use of technology can even hinder it. A University of Washington study of infant vocabulary shows that it is slipping due to educational baby DVDs. Published in the Journal of Pediatrics, a 2007 University of Washington study on the vocabulary of babies surveyed over 1,000 parents in Washington and Minnesota. The study found that for every one hour that babies 8–16 months of age watched DVDs and Videos they knew 6-8 fewer of 90 common baby words than the babies that did not watch them. Andrew Meltzoff, a surveyor in this study states that the result makes sense, that if the baby’s ‘alert time’ is spent in front of DVDs and TV, instead of with people speaking, the babies are not going to get the same linguistic experience. Dr. Dimitri Chistakis, another surveyor reported that the evidence is mounting that baby DVDs are of no value and may be harmful.

If you have dashes in your canvas gradebook, those assignments have not been graded and as such are not part of the Total column. The best management practice for your gradebook is to enter in a grade for each assignment or “EX” if the assignment is excused for the student.
The display of quiz statistics currently has a limit of 10,000 data points. After the 10,000 mark, the quiz statistics display will not load. For example, if you have a course with 300 students and they are taking an exam with 50 questions, that is 15,000 data points. You will not be able to view the quiz statistics in the browser, though you can still download the excel spreadsheet. We have also found that if you are close to that 10,000 point threshold (e.g. over 9,000), quiz statistics may intermittently not load.
If there is a change in the quiz question or quiz answers (e.g. multiple choice, true/false, etc.) after a quiz has been opened and students start taking it, a rocket ship will show up in the gradebook instead of the grades.

Our study group centers around using the free Quizlet app to advance knowledge of The University of Texas at Dallas courses. We will offer an environment that rewards performance based on the Quizlet Live app and group participation. Our functions will be on a per course basis and my not include all courses listed at UTD. We will help with facilitating competitions among a given study group and assist with an award program for the winning team of four in a given competition. If you’re really afraid then just run eLearning on a webpage in a virtual machine so it will seem like you never even leave the webpage when in reality you can do whatever you want outside the virtual machine. That would work even if eLearning really could monitor your activities in other tabs and see if it’s your active tab
