The University of Florida Exchange or commonly known as UF exchange is an email and collaboration service provided for UF. UF Exchange has been designed so as to help provide world-class service for the entire university community.
The student can refer to the schedule of courses by visiting the site https://one.uf.edu/soc/. The courses will be mentioned according to the seasons, fall, spring and summer. The student can select a term and utilize the search filters to find classes.
This form is used if you already have a course for the CURRENT Semester and need to add additional sections to the existing course. This is NOT used to request new sections for a course that has NOT already been created for the Current semester. ONLY TO ADD ADDITIONAL SECTIONS TO ALREADY CREATED COURSES. If you use this form to request your course be created for the current term, it will delay the creation process. Furthermore, when it is created, you will receive and e-mail requesting that you do not use this form for this purpose.

The design of e-learning platforms in ways that enable universal access has received attention from several directions, including the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). WAI provides universal formatting standards for websites so they can remain accessible to people with disabilities. A common problem at the beginning of a term is that instructors/TAs/Facilitators notify us that they cannot see the students in their course. This is often because whoever enrolled them chose “limit to section” during the enrollment process. They are appropriately enrolled in the INIT section, but then limited to that section. Typically only teacher-type roles are in the INIT section so the students in the registrar sections are off-limits to the person who is limited to the INIT section.

Effective technology use deploys multiple evidence-based strategies concurrently (e.g. adaptive content, frequent testing, immediate feedback, etc.), as do effective teachers. Using computers or other forms of technology can give students practice on core content and skills while the teacher can work with others, conduct assessments, or perform other tasks. Through the use of educational technology, education is able to be individualized for each student allowing for better differentiation and allowing students to work for mastery at their own pace.
Richey defined educational technology as “the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using and managing appropriate technological processes and resources”. The Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT) denoted instructional technology as “the theory and practice of design, development, utilization, management, and evaluation of processes and resources for learning”. As such, educational technology refers to all valid and reliable applied education sciences, such as equipment, as well as processes and procedures that are derived from scientific research, and in a given context may refer to theoretical, algorithmic or heuristic processes: it does not necessarily imply physical technology.
