Not all courses start on the same date. Course start and end dates vary based on the semester Term.  Classes should show in eLearning after 8am Central Time on the start date provided.  The start date is dependent on when your instructor has set the course to begin in eLearning.  To see what day your class begins, access your schedule in the My Classes app in MyUWF (see below).

A continuous changing diversity, to which the need of adaptation to the changes of external environment is added, speeds up the rate of development and business education. The new information and communication technologies speed up the rate of change and increase the need of education that is subject to a higher information flow. The achievements of information technology, along with changes within society, determine the creation of new paradigms for business education and training. Under these circumstances, e-learning has become one of the main educational forms of human resources in business. This research aims to measure the impact of some initiatives within human resources on an organization, market leader within pharmaceutical field, namely measuring the efficiency of business education programs concerning human resources through e-learning. Under these circumstances, the carried-out research aims to put into practice the theoretical frame of ROI (Return on Investment) methodology of evaluating the business education programs concerning human resources in five stages, suggested by J. J. Phillips. The research validates theoretical data of the surveyed model and it is based on the analysis of the data gathering process within the ROI Methodology. This work shows only aspects related to the measuring of the participants` reaction towards e-learning business education program, respectively.

By default, courses are set up so that students can view their work (e.g. what they submitted for an assignment or a discussion).  In addition, students can see materials posted in a course (such as lectures and files) that were made available to them during the course.

A common eLearning question is “Where did the course menu go?” also sometimes asked as “I don’t see any content in the course.” A “feature” of Blackboard 9.1 is that it is responsive to your screen size and so will automatically hide the course menu if you don’t have enough room on the screen. The only software that I am aware of that UTD uses that is even remotely “monitoring” is the LockDown Web Browser which students have to use when they’re taking an online quiz at the Testing Center. But it is mostly just an enforced whitelist. Other software is in use too such as TurnItIn (used to check for plagiarism).
