Even though eLearning is not a new concept, those who favor ILT are not convinced that online training is effective at producing the desired outcomes. So, here are several reasons why eLearning really does work for learners. If you’re still not sold on eLearning, try a blended approach.
Are you sending an attachment in response to a student email in e-Learning from your email client (such as outlook)? This attachment will be stripped from the email once it enters e-Learning as a security measure in place by Instructure Canvas. To make sure that your students are receiving attachments that you send them, send the email with the attachment through the e-Learning Inbox tool. We’d like to inform you of a change in Classroom Polling Software (commonly known as clickers). Starting Fall 2016, the existing software (Turning Point 5) will be replaced by a newer version called Turning… More Point Cloud. It is brought to you by the same vendor, Turning Technologies. The most recent update to eLearning has introduced a bug which can potentially display incorrect due dates in the Daily Notification email update students receive nightly, as well as in the “To Do” and “What’s… More New” modules in the My eLearning tab. For the students to access the information and explore the University of Florida information systems, Gatorlink username and password is required. A GatorLink username and password is required for access to most University of Florida information systems. The GatorLink accounts are provided to the individuals or the students with active affiliations with the University, as it is recorded in the UF Identity Registry.
There are lots of eLearning authoring tools out there. Here’s a quick look at the most popular eLearning authoring tool types. eLearning Authoring Tool: PowerPoint. Many eLearning authoring tools use PowerPoint directly or are based on it.
Some instructors choose to grant Early Access to their courses, allowing you to get a head-start on coursework. Courses set to allow Early Access will become active in eLearning the day after grades are due for the previous term. Not all instructors choose this option. If your instructor has granted Early Access you will see a link to “Go to eLearning” under “Details” in the My Classes app in MyUWF:

Simply creating a course and putting a price on it is never enough for starting an online business selling courses. You need visibility and to convince anyone who comes across your site that your course can help them. There is no hard science to this process. Marketing and selling is a bit of an art, but that isn’t a bad thing. It actually means that you have a lot of leeway in how you go about building an audience for your offerings. MORE

The only software that I am aware of that UTD uses that is even remotely “monitoring” is the LockDown Web Browser which students have to use when they’re taking an online quiz at the Testing Center. But it is mostly just an enforced whitelist. Other software is in use too such as TurnItIn (used to check for plagiarism).
